Genetic Disorders UK - Jeans for Genes
The Challenge
Genetic Disorders UK runs Jeans for Genes Day, an annual fundraising campaign.
The challenge was producing multiple merchandise items, celebrity-endorsed black & White t-shirts, logo pin badges, and SpongeBob SquarePants badges, all under tight deadlines.
Key hurdles included:

The black t-shirt design was selected through a competition, making lead times unpredictable

The SpongeBob badges and packaging required approval from Nickelodeon

The campaign launch date was fixed, leaving no room for delays




The Solution
Fluid guided the client in selecting the most suitable t-shirt styles and badge materials. For the SpongeBob badges, we recommended soft PVC, ensuring vibrant, high-quality character designs.
Our in-house design studio created the box and backing card designs, fully adhering to Nickelodeon’s brand guidelines. We supplied pre-mounted and pre-packed badges, ready for dispatch to retailers and supporters. For the t-shirts, we also provided a short run ahead of full delivery for the celebrity photoshoot campaign.

Despite extremely tight timelines, all merchandise was delivered on time and on budget:
